Contessa Fly Fishing is a fully outfitted guide service; we are committed to providing our customers with the finest saltwater fishing tackle available. For fly fishing trips, we provide customers with reels from Tibor and Abel, and rods from Sage and G. Loomis. Our light tackle arsenal includes reels from Shimano and Daiwa and rods from St. Croix and G. Loomis.

Of course, you are always welcome and encouraged to bring your own equipment. For fly fishing we generally recommend 8-11 weight outfits rigged with full floating or clear intermediate fly lines. Light tackle anglers should plan to bring 7 foot medium to heavy action rods with 12-15 pound test line. Hand tied flies and a wide variety of plugs are available at no additional charge.

Ice and beverages are included in the price of skiff trips and beach trips.

For skiff trips we recommend that you bring:
